The Sun City Rotary Club will host a Walk-A-Thon at the Legacy Hills Park Pavilion on Saturday, May 14 to help raise funds for PolioPlus.

You and your friends and neighbors are invited to participate to help Rotary International's continuing campaign to eradicate polio worldwide.  

There will be a variety of walking routes (long, medium, short, etc.) to accommodate all walkers. 

Refreshments and photographs will also be provided.  Scroll down to read additional information about polio and to download the pledge form for documenting sponsors.

This website is actually a "blog," so feel from to add comments.  Please watch the following video for an update on Rotary's efforts to eradicate polio, and see how far Rotarians have come in meeting Rotary's US$200 Million Challenge.  World Polio Day was celebrated on October 24, 2010.

The Rotary Club of Georgetown - Sun City was chartered in 1997. Weekly luncheon meetings are held every Tuesday at noon in the Cowan Creek Amenity Center in Sun City (1433 Cool Spring Way).
